BABCOCK UNIVERSITY RELEASES POST UTME/DE ADMISSION FORM FOR THE 2023/2024 ACADEMIC SESSION

This is to inform all the candidates who choose Babcock University as first choice in the 2023 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) that they can now apply for the Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination by visiting https://applications2.babcock.edu.ng/babcock/

GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum qualification for the First Degree Programs: 5 credits at the GCE/SSCE/NECO Examinations or their equivalent (at not more than 2 sittings); one sitting only for Medicine. Candidates below 15 years of age are advised not to apply. All candidates who APPLY to Babcock University are REQUIRED to sit for the current JAMB examination (for 100 Level) or apply for JAMB Direct Entry admissions (for Direct Entry). Candidates applying for Transfer Admissions need to present JAMB Admission letter, Transcript and Attestation Letter from the previous University.

Music Requirements: 5 credits in English Language, and any other four subjects. Department of Law Degree Offered: LLB. (Hons) Law 

Requirements: 5 credits in English Language, Literature in English, Mathematics and any other two social science subjects. 

Direct Entry: Advanced level or Higher School Certificate or Bachelor of Arts degree in any related course from any accredited University with second class lower division and above. Candidates must present their transcripts and O’ level results- as stated in the O’ level requirements above.

SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCES

Department of Accounting Degree Offered: B.Sc. (Hons) Accounting Requirements: 5 credits in English Language, Economics, Mathematics and any other two relevant subjects Direct Entry:Holders of OND/HND/ACA/ACCA/ICMA/ATS in addition to 5 credits in the subjects stipulated at O’Level are eligible to apply for Direct Entry

NOTE: A pass in Economics may be considered provided the candidate has a credit in Accounting or Commerce.

One Year Professional Training: All BSc Accounting students may after completion enroll for one year into the professional class to sit for ACA/ACCA/CITN/CIMA Certification Examinations. Such students should have been processed for exemptions under MOU with various professional bodies after their BSc Certification at the end of the fourth year.Internship: All ACCA registered students will be attached to some designated companies for practical experience during long holidays from 100 Level to 400 Level as part of the MOU with ACCA. 2.)Agronomy & Landscape Design (5-year Program)Requirements: 5 credits (at one or two sittings) in English Language, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Mathematics and Economics with at least, a credit in Home Economics and Food & Nutrition, with at least a pass in Physics.

Direct Entry: HND with at least a lower credit pass in relevant disciplines. A minimum of credit in Mathematics is mandatory.

a.) In addition to the 5 credits in the subjects stipulated at O’ level, candidates must have pass in GCE at Advance Level in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology). 

b.) In addition to the 5 credits in the subjects stipulated at O’level, graduates with at least a second class honour degree (lower division) in related disciplines are eligible to apply

c.) In addition to the 5 credits in the subjects stipulated at O’level, Medical Laboratory Technician certificate holders are also eligible to apply.

SCHOOL OF NURSING SCIENCE

Department of Nursing Science Degree Offered: BNSc. (Hons.) Nursing Science

Requirements: Candidates seeking admission into the school of nursing science Program for bachelor of nursing sciences degree must satisfy the minimum university requirements for admission to the degree Program which includes an acceptable pass at the university Identity and Document Verification. They must in addition to the above, have minimum of credit (C) level passes at the senior secondary school certificate examination (SSCE) or its equivalent in five subjects, at not more than two sittings, which must include English language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. Registered Nurses (RN) with credit level passes in the SSCE subject as listed above may be admitted by Direct Entry into 200 level provided they satisfy other University admission requirements.
